Today we are announcing expanded roll manufacturing capabilities with the addition of an advanced laser engraving system at our Richmond, Virginia facility. The investment further strengthens our ability to engineer the right surface for each customer’s product, process, and substrate.
"Over the years, we’ve supported an incredibly wide range of products. Everything from food to foil," said Justin Glass, Chief Executive Officer. "That experience matters, because surface design doesn’t exist in a vacuum. The right pattern depends on the substrate, the downstream process, and what the customer is ultimately trying to achieve."
Laser engraving allows for direct-to-steel pattern creation with a high level of precision and repeatability, making it an ideal solution for certain textures, depths, and functional requirements. With this added capacity, PRS teams can now evaluate laser engraving alongside mechanical and other engraving methods. Selecting the process that best aligns with the customer’s application and lead time.
By continuing to invest in both advanced manufacturing technology and deep process knowledge, Precision Roll Solutions reinforces its role as a long-term partner, helping customers make better products by applying the right surface, the right method, and the right experience.
