Business Development Lead Richmond, VA

The Business Development Lead is a position that will establish and maintain robust industry familiarity and relationships in order to gain an authoritative understanding of sales opportunities. He/she will build trusted relationships with customers and key account opportunities. They will identify sales opportunities and provide those opportunities to Technical Sales to provide related quotes and complete the sales process.

Technical Salesperson sells and promotes products and/or services requiring technical knowledge of engineering and cost effectiveness. Calls on company management representatives to introduce products/services and convince them of the desirability, potential value and practicality of such offerings.

Must follow engraving processes in accordance with job specifications and compliance with customer requirements and expectations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and follow work orders, job specifications and details.
  • Etch patterns into plates following all procedures.
  • Comply with safety training, disciplines, and initiatives; utilize proper PPE.
  • Safe operation of overhead cranes/hoists
  • Learn and demonstrate complete plate machine changeover process.
  • Lift and transport of 5-lb buckets, with lids, containing chemicals safely according to procedures.
  • Safe use and application chemicals while etching plates.
  • Wiping mills while applying pressure in a standing position for long periods.
  • Walking and/or standing 100% of time.
  • Initiate and monitor process; examine and measure depth of engraving and registry; monitor temperature, Baume, and time; make adjustments as required.
  • Miscellaneous housekeeping to ensure clean, safe work area and department.

Educational Requirements/Experience: High School Graduate preferred; prior work in manufacturing environment a plus. Detail attentive with dedicated long-term willingness to learn the trade, competently apply engraving techniques, and produce consistent, quality precision work. Mechanical aptitude, practical use of tools and equipment, PPE, and compliance with safety initiatives.

Engraving process is done in accordance with job specifications and conformance to customer demands and expectations. Attaining journeyman status requires multiple years of training, precision work and mastering several levels of engraving and variety of machines.

Machinists utilize machine tools (manual and/or computer numerically controlled/CNC) such as milling machines, saws, cylindrical grinders, lathes, and other shop equipment to produce steel rolls and parts in conforming to blueprints and engineering specifications. The process includes removal of excess material, burrs from surface, buffing, honing or polishing. Machinists apply their knowledge of working components of metal/steel and their ability with machine tools to deliver products precise to specification.


2nd Shift Sleeve Laminator Green Bay, WI

Precision Roll Solutions (“PRS”) is a full-service provider of highly-engineered cylindrical rolls, plates, and related process componentry used in corrugated packaging, consumer goods (tissue & towel), and other nondiscretionary manufacturing applications. The company’s customers are located throughout North America, with an emphasis on the US Southeast and Upper Midwest. PRS has four facilities in North America include three in Green Bay, WI and one in Richmond, VA.


1st or 2nd shift Machinist Richmond, VA

Machinists utilize machine tools (manual and/or computer numerically controlled/CNC) such as milling machines, saws, cylindrical grinders, lathes, and other shop equipment to produce steel rolls and parts in conforming to blueprints and engineering specifications. The process includes removal of excess material, burrs from surface, buffing, honing or polishing. Machinists apply their knowledge of working components of metal/steel and their ability with machine tools to deliver products precise to specification.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Analyze work orders, job specifications, blueprints and details;
  • Lift and safely position workpieces with hoists and secure on machine
  • Proper set up and adjustment of machine controls according to specification,
  • Safe operation of lathes, milling machines, saws, grinders and other shop tools
  • Observe machine operations to detect any problems, making necessary adjustments
  • Comply with safety training, disciplines and initiatives; utilize proper PPE
  • Pushing steel rolls on transport dollies and/or safe forklift operation
  • Walking and/or standing 100% of time
  • Miscellaneous housekeeping to ensure clean, safe work area and department

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Richmond, VA

Electro-mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for working on systems that are an amalgamation of both electrical and mechanical works. Must perform preventative and regular maintenance on electro-mechanical systems and are also trained in handling moderate and complex repair work.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair a variety of electro-mechanical equipment
  • Perform calibration activities to ensure compliance with set industry codes
  • Modify and adjust complex process equipment and instruments
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electro-mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex problems associated with electro-mechanical machinery by following precedential steps
  • Install electric parts and hardware using equipment such as soldering irons
  • Align and fit assemblies using hand and power tools
  • Perform inspection on a daily basis to determine startup problems
  • Verify part dimensions with a view to conform to provided specifications
  • Fabricate housings, jigs and fixtures by operating metalwork machines
  • Repair and calibrate pneumatic assemblies to meet job specifications
  • Diagnose issues with complex control systems and employ tactics to resolve them effectively
  • Maintain knowledge of drawings, blueprints, schematics and inspection manuals
  • Fabricate replacements for unavailable parts until they can be procured from the vendor
  • Maintain parts and equipment inventory and handle ordering processes by liaising with vendors and suppliers
  • Fill out progress forms and create reports for each task completed during the day
  • Provide training to new employees in a bid to help them understand electro-mechanical work
  • Comply with all safety and environmental requirements and regulation
