Job Description:

Work in our office environment and support actual manufacturing of equipment used to produce a diverse range of consumer products we all use every day. You’ll see products move from concept to reality every day, and have the chance to work with some of the world’s most discerning brands. Your colleagues will be highly skilled tradesman and experienced engineers, blending craftsmanship with technology to create the equipment that improves the performance of products you use everyday…from wine labels to trash bags and everything in between.

As Business Development Lead, you will:

  • Increase sales growth and market penetration.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the needs, selling process and expectations of the markets.
  • Implement a robust lead generation process to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain current and accurate pipeline forecasts, and lead and prospect reports.
  • Work with the appropriate team members to successfully introduce new products to market.
  • Work with the team to effectively respond to customer opportunities, particularly where guidance for special pricing or product modifications are required.
  • Identify and develop new ways to grow through share gain and identify new market opportunities .
  • Maintain market and competitor intelligence.
  • Develop networks towards sourcing for new clients.
  • Work independently on customers’ needs.
  • Sell the ideals and services of the business to the general public towards improving on sales generation.
  • Attract, as well as retain clients by working with VP of Business Development on developing highly creative outreach strategies.
  • Work in line with the operational procedures of the organization towards its revenue generation and sales growth goals as set forth by the VP of Business Development.

Necessary Skills

  • 5 years in client relationship management, professional services, business development and B2B sales.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality.
  • Possess a good sense of humor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work with recent technological applications relating to daily tasks.
  • Strong detail-orientation and top level self organization.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to put in more working hours, even at odd times.
  • Possess reliable, problem-solving ability.
  • Frequent travel will be required (estimated at ~50%+ of time).
  • Candidates that meet the following criteria are preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred. Experience in global companies producing complex, highly engineered products, and who are known for Lean, Continuous Improvement and High Performance, is more critical than specific industry segment experience.
  • Strong sales leadership is required.
